ICE! Gaylord Palms, Orlando

Snow isn’t known to hit us Floridians, which is why ICE is a great holiday event to attend with family. This year’s theme is “Christmas Around the World”, and you will not be disappointed by the giant carved ice sculptures (2 million lbs worth) and ice slides! If you want to warm up during this incredible spectacle, there are plenty of interactive holiday scenes around, along with an appearance from Santa and his elves.

So, if you are looking to add a little holiday cheer to your Florida RV trip, grab your tickets below and head to Orlando.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Walt Disney World Orlando

The most magical place on earth is a must stop on your holiday RV tour. If a trip to Disney isn’t enough to peak your interest, than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party should do the trick. With holiday parades, treats and themed attractions, there is plenty to keep the family entertained.

If there are too many options to choose from, we recommend attending Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. There you will find appearances by Disney’s favorite characters donned in their holiday attire, along with music dancing and of course… snow!

Nights of Lights, St. Augustine

Our final stop on the Camp USA holiday RV tour, is to the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine. Here you can enjoy their famous “Nights of Lights” display. More than 3 million lights are strung throughout St. Augustine, making a spectacular sight with plenty of viewing options. Don’t feel like walking? A Guide to Florida’s Upcoming Races

Race Season is just around the corner, and Camp USA is ready to go! Florida is lucky enough to be home to some of the best tracks in the Nascar circuit, and is why so many travel by RV to participate. So, if you are planning on attending the races this season, check out our must see guide below!

Ford EcoBoost

In just a couple of weeks, RV’s will be heading down to the city of Miami for the Ford Ecoboost 400. Not only will you be up close to the action at this legendary track, you will be able to witness three championship races within one weekend!

If you are looking to make more out of your weekend, we highly recommend grabbing passes to the FanVision Fan Zone. Here you can enjoy delectable lunch buffets, snacks, drinks and pre-race access to the pit. What could be better?

Rolex 24

The Rolex 24 has been a Nascar staple since 1962, and this year is no exception. This endurance race begins at sunrise, and does not end until sunrise the next day. That means you have plenty of time to take in the sights and enjoy all that Daytona International Speedway has to offer.

Planning on coming by RV? Great! The Geico Campground offers an incredible set up for tailgaters and race fans who are there for the action. With the length of the Rolex 24, this is a great option for those traveling with kids or big groups, but keep in mind it fills up fast.

Daytona 500

If you can’t make it to the Rolex 24, there is always the 2018 Daytona 500! Spanning over 6 decades, this event has brought us some of the best moments and wins in Nascar history. If you want to boost your experience, don’t forget about the UNOH Fanzone and Pre-Race Extravaganza.

By adding on either the Fanzone or Extravaganza tickets, you and your group will be able to get up close and personal with not only the cars, but the famous drivers who lead them. Keep in mind that the Daytona 500 has sold out the past two years, so the earlier you reserve your tickets and RV spot at the Geico Campground, the better.

Now that you have the race lineup for the next few months, it is time to reserve your Camp USA RV Rental! We have coaches for all budgets, and are ready to prep you for the tailgating experience of a lifetime!
