4th of July Weekend Event Guide

Summer is in full swing, and the month of July is shaping up to be epic! With the 4th of July, Nascar racing and food festivals there is plenty do during your RV road trip. So, sit back and follow us through a few of our favorite events this weekend to visit with friends & family.

Coke Zero 400 in Daytona

Is there anything better than Nascar in summer? We are heading down to Daytona this weekend for one of the best racing events of the year… the Coke Zero 400! Some of the biggest names in Nascar will be making there way to the track in Daytona for an unforgettable day. Don’t forget to stop by early and enjoy a pre-concert featuring Tyler Farr and up close and personal encounters with your favorite drivers.

4th of July in Orlando

If you are looking for a family friendly option to enjoy during the 4th of July, head over to the happiest place on earth… Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Magic Kingdom and Epcot will be prepped and ready with a fireworks display on the 3rd and 4th. Along with fireworks you will be able to relax with family and enjoy a magical musical score that only Disney could create. Just remember to enter the park early before it fills up.

Key Lime Pie Festival in Key West

Key West is home to some of the greatest food in Florida. So, it comes as no surprise that they would host the Key Lime Pie Festival, July 1-4th. From a pie sampling stroll, to key lime cocktails, cook offs and eating contests there is plenty to enjoy with friends. Keep in mind that this is a very busy event, so the earlier you arrive the better.

RV’ing This 4th of July Weekend

It doesn’t get more American than taking an RV trip on the 4th of July and thankfully Florida has tons of great options. Like we said, there are no shortage of great weekend events here in the Sunshine State, the challenge is choosing the right one for you. Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway

This year the Coke Zero 400 is back and better than ever on July 2nd at the newly improved Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL. This fan-favorite event has all the patriotism you could want alongside some of the best anticipating racing. With new and improved seating options, there isn’t a bad view in the house. Enjoy unparalleled experiences in the Spring FANZONE as well as an epic Pre-Race Extravaganza.

RV camping options are abundant in the Geico Campgrounds with affordable options like Geico Park West starting at just $220 all the way up to the Premium Gecko Shores at Lake Lloyd at $990.
