RV’ing This 4th of July Weekend

It doesn’t get more American than taking an RV trip on the 4th of July and thankfully Florida has tons of great options. Like we said, there are no shortage of great weekend events here in the Sunshine State, the challenge is choosing the right one for you. We figured we would help you out by giving you all the details on two of our favorite events!

Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway

This year the Coke Zero 400 is back and better than ever on July 2nd at the newly improved Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL. This fan-favorite event has all the patriotism you could want alongside some of the best anticipating racing. With new and improved seating options, there isn’t a bad view in the house. Enjoy unparalleled experiences in the Spring FANZONE as well as an epic Pre-Race Extravaganza.

RV camping options are abundant in the Geico Campgrounds with affordable options like Geico Park West starting at just $220 all the way up to the Premium Gecko Shores at Lake Lloyd at $990. At any price level you will be sure to find top of the line grounds with plenty of entertainment. Spring for the Gecko Shores and you will have infield access, 50-amp electric and water hookups, access to the Boardwalk Club, and most of all absolutely amazing views of the famed Backstretch!

4th of July Celebration and Fireworks at Disney World

Disney World is known for delivering an unforgettable experience everyday of the year but Independence Day is one of the few holidays each year were they truly pull out the stops, especially during their fireworks performance at Magic Kingdom. They will be announcing their official plans soon so get in early and book your trip with the expectation of a one of a kind concert in the sky choreographed to music (generally on both Friday and Saturday evening).

There are tremendous accommodations available at Disney but few better than the beautiful Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. With fully-equipped campsites nestled into 750 acres of pine and cypress forest this is a vacation stay your family won’t soon forget. Enjoy winding woodland trails, beautiful beachfront, and incredible entertainment such as archery experiences, ranches, animal rides, and all sorts of outdoor activities.

No matter where you decide to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, do it from the comfort and convenience of a luxury rental from Camp USA!
