A Guide to Daytona in 2018!

Planning a trip to Daytona isn’t complete without a stop at one of Florida’s most famous International Speedways. So, if you love Nascar and the sound of country, we have the perfect guide to your 2018 Daytona Beach travels.

Rolex 24

The Rolex 24 kicks off race season this January. The sunrise to sunrise endurance race is one of our favorite Daytona events, and is non-stop action. Want to be up close with some of your favorite rides? Be sure to grab passes for the UNOH Fanzone and take part in the “Grid Walk”, which allows you to join, chat and take photos of current drivers and their cars.

Bringing along the kids on your RV trip? Don’t miss out the Kid Zone that includes a rock wall, trampolines and much more.

Daytona 500

It’s the 60th Anniversary of the Daytona 500 this year! The Nascar Cup season starts at this event, and is why so many RV travelers make the trek to attend. Along with the 2.5 mile race, you can take part in the pre-race extravaganza that includes entertainment, flyovers and driver introductions.

Be sure to stay close to the action by parking your RV at the Geico Campground.

Country 500

If you want to to hit the open road this Memorial Day, then head on down to Daytona International Speedway for their third annual Country 500! Headlining this year will be none other than Chris Stapleton & Dierks Bentley, with many more artists to be announced for this 3 day-3 night festival.

As always your RV Rental from Camp USA will be the perfect tailgating vessel for this event, with options on the Geico Campgrounds or Speedway!
