A perk of living in the great state of Florida is that Disney World is in your backyard. Each holiday that comes through, you can count on Disney to put on a spectacular display, which is why so many families and individuals make the parks a staple in their seasonal traditions.

Halloween is one of the greatest times around Disney. The park is completely decked out in fall decor, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a huge event that allows children and adults to trick-or-treat throughout the park, meet their favorite Disney villains at the Hocus Pocus Spectacular and of course Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Although Halloween is always a fun way to kick off the holiday season, it is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party that is the event of the year.

Like the Halloween Bash, Disney is completely transformed into a holiday haven, but for the winter season they pull out all the stops. Throughout the day you can make your way down to the various shows, sip on complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, and witness the beautiful “snow” fall over Main Street in Magic Kingdom.

So, if you are looking for the ultimate seasonal event, look no further than Orlando and be sure to take advantage of the multitude of RV parks including Walt Disney World’s own Fort Wilderness.
